Furnishing the Gravel Garden

This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Looks very pretty and inviting! I will send warm weather nights your way. :)
ReplyDeletewhat kind of gravel is that ? it looks like white and tan beach pebble, maybe.
ReplyDeleteit looks great, despite past devilish obstructions.
Wow....love your garden furniture. Where can I buy this and at what cost ?
ReplyDeleteGarden Harlot, it is a gravel from a local building supply called 'Phoenix Sun' (the gravel is called that, not the building supply). It has shades of tan, gold and pink in it and goes well with the other hardscaping that was already on the property. It is a sharp gravel, not beach pebble and is wonderfully crunchy!
ReplyDeleteAnn Flowers, I had the table made by a supplier in LA called 'Big Daddy Antiques'. The chairs and cushions came from Restoration Hardware. Although it was not cheap, my experience has been that outdoor furniture is not a place to skimp because the cheap stuff does not last and you end up replacing it in a short time. I have had good luck with this kind of rattan from RH and it looks great for a very long time.
