This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Anna Apples
My young 'Anna' apple trees are filled with fruit this year. I will need to do some thinning. Such a nice and easy tree with a happy disposition!
Hoover - I don't seem to have a problem with them, although my trees are still small and the birds eat most of the apples every year. I do eat some while wondering through the garden and haven't encounter any worms yet!

Those look crisp and yummy
do you get pests on those apples? That always makes me hesitate to try planting one.
