This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Tall Shadows
Late in the day is a lovely time when the shadows are long and make dappled shade in what we call Palm Alley in our SJC garden.
Yes, I would very much love to stroll through your gardens -- they look amazing! The lengthening shadows that come at dusk are beautiful, summer or winter.

ReplyDeleteThese trees may not be ancient but their trunks make them look so - and that adds to the tranquility.

Oh now that is special. I love the way white of the trees is picked up by the path, and I love the dominance of the verticals.
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful! So good to get a combination of light and shade.
