Happy Blooms
Echeveria are such sweet little plants. They are very subtle most of the time and require little attention in the garden, also adding to their demure reputation. However when these soft colored 'hens and chicks' bloom, it is like they are waving at us, saying a sweet hello. I always smile when I see them reaching out to greet the world.
Mine are blooming too and putting on a lovely show, when much else is sulking in the heat and drought.
ReplyDeleteThe plant shoots out two slender stalks with flowers at the top. Cute!.... and I think this plant is good at storing water just in case we forget to hose them...

Mine bloomed about a month ago. Do you know if they bloom only once a year? I don't know anything about succulants. -Jackie
ReplyDeleteEllie Mae, I think they only bloom once a year, but their blooms last a long time.
