This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Ed Brown
This is my first 'ruffly' daylily! It is called 'Ed Brown'. Such a masculine name for such a frilly flower, not that there's anything wrong with that!
And a very fine fellow he is, too! Friends of mine have crossed his pollen with 'Pride of Canning', one they've bred, and they tell me they're going to register it in my name in a couple of years. So I'm very fond of Ed...:-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty one! I love the ruffly edges.
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing so many gorgeous pictures of hibiscus. This is another beauty! They literally steal the show when they are in blossom.
ReplyDeleteMiss Daisy, I know it looks like a hibiscus, but it really is a daylily!
