Different Kind of Fall Color
In warm climates "fall color" take on a different meaning, especially when it comes to bougainvillea. This tropical vine is in full color in our area this time of year and the bright brackets (the actual flowers are tiny white blooms in the center of the three colorful brackets) are vivid against the clear blue skies that make this such a lovely time of year, even in warmer climates.
You can grow so many plants that I can't! It gets too cold here for so many beautiful plants I'd love to have. >:-p
ReplyDeleteI wish it would survive our winters! Nice rich color!
ReplyDeleteMine are blooming too. I have to move them inside before the frost though. I grow them in large pots and they bloom off and on through the winter so they make my sunny dining room seem so nice.

Color me jealous.....I love that color. I have an althea and several roses that are just that hue. All is slowly dying here, just let me know when you need some help in the garden. I'll be stir crazy in a few weeks! Lovely as always, I do not always have time to write a note, but I enjoy all your posts....Brooke
