Cherry Red
These azaleas were here when I moved in and they were always on my list to move to another spot that is not so sunny. I've never gotten around to it and in this gloomy, rainy weather I am glad to have a glimpse of this cheery color greeting me when I walk up the back steps.
Sigh. I've got a couple more months to see my azaleas bloom. I can't wait! I just planted them last year as 1 gal. plants, so they were small. They grew a bit over the summer, so they should look nice this year! :)

Dear Sheila, What a warm welcome awaits you each time you enter the house. Have a very happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty welcome home it makes. So pretty. I can hardly wait until things begin to start blooming around here again, even if it is a weed at this point. ;-)

I spoted a Azaleas at our local store a month ago with the same color you have. I was hesitated to bring it home since I don't have a proper partial shady for it. Then after I made my mind to go back to get it in a week, it is gone! Beautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and nice comments you left. Happy Valentine's day to you too.
After a few years, they seem not to mind the lack of shade. They're certainly cheerful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful flowers on this snowy day. I appreciate your welcome on blotanical - so fun to meet new gardeners around the country. Kelly
