Naturalized Daffodils

Years ago I planted daffodils in the Laguna garden and they have continued to naturalize and multiply every year. There are a number of different kinds that bloom late winter all the way through to early summer. They are one of my favorite plants because they are like a surprise every year.

  1. Daffodils are such an icon of spring. Are those Mt. Hood?

  2. A lot of people have been commenting lately on how much they enjoy daffodils. Though they are ten times better than dandelions, I can't say they are one of my favs.

  3. NealJean, I am not sure but that does sound familiar!

Chicken Boys, I just love the fact that they have no problems whatsoever and they bloom when almost everything else is dormant!

  4. This is what I'm talking about! I hope to have this many one year...I need to find the white ones.

  5. Our Dutch Master daffodils are blooming up a storm at the moment too, despite all the heavy rain. Little else is quite that far along. What's not to love about daffodils? They don't ask for much, but reward us with magnificent blooms in Spring. I can't wait to plant more!
