This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Big
This ligularia is so happy in this dappled shade that they have grown so large that they are crowding out the other plants that share this area. Time to rescue the others and relocate them because I don't want to interfere with a happy plant!
Holy Mackerel! Those leaves look like serving platters! Have they bloomed already? Or is that yet to come? Here is zone 4, the Ligs are done and gone. Some of the leaves on mine get to be the size of dinner plates, but only in the best conditions.

Auntie K., No blooms yet. Some of my others have already bloomed, but not these.
Dear Sheila, This foliage plant is new to me. It looks very happy indeed! Pam
