This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

No Lack of Bees Here
I hear people talk about the disappearing bees all the time, but you wouldn't know there was a problem here! The Indian Hawthorne (Rhaphiolepis indica) is a bee mecca around here and is buzzing all day!
How beautiful. I am glad to hear that you have bees in your garden. I think I only saw three honeybees in my garden all summer last year despite all of the flowers.
You are so fortunate. Last summer I didn't see any bees come to my pond for a drink as they usually do. Treasure the wonderful bees you have. I know when I see one or two now, I am very grateful.

That sure is a bee-tiful scene!
