This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Oak Leaf Poinsettia
My son brought me these lovely poinsettias the other day and it took me a minute to discover what was unique about them. While most poinsettias have tear-drop shaped leaves and 'petals' (which are actually brackets), these have oak-leaf shaped foliage. I typically don't bother planting my holiday poinsettias in the garden when the season is over. I don't find them very attractive in their natural state in the garden, but these may just find a home.

Very beautiful, and very festive! Ho-ho. ;)
Those ARE unique.
I love discovering different varieties...especailly the ones that make you think you can have them in your garden!!!
