Alliums Sprouting

Last fall I put in a number of white alliums in the Moonlight Garden and they are finally starting to sprout. I expect it will be a couple more months before we get flowers. I have grown some of the smaller purple varieties before, but this is the first time I have tried these allium stipitatum 'White Giant'.

I'm looking forward to seeing them too.

Good luck with them - I can't wait to see that entire garden in bloom. And you must try to get a photo in the moonlight. :)

I've enjoyed my visit. We have a couple of months to go yet, before we're out of Winter weather. I'll enjoy your photos for awhile. :-)

They look like they are growing healthy so far. Good luck with them, and don't neglect the watering.

Can't wait to see the blooms on these beauties. I love Alliums and grow several varieties every year. :)

I planted white alliums from winter sown seed last year....I don't think I can expect blooms this year, but I am looking forward to them!

Yay ~ if yours are up, then mine won't be far behind! I planted quite a few alliums last year too Sheila. Some giant and some small. It's always fun to see what the new plants/bulbs do in the garden, isn't it? I agree with Nancy ~ you should try and photograph your moonlight garden in the evening!
