This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

No Casablanca Here
I wrote earlier about buying mislabeled bulbs that were supposed to be pink and came up a bright orange. Well here are what were supposed to be white Casablanca lilies. As you can see they are quite pink. Charming never-the-less, but they are located in my all-white Moonlight Garden. I plan to enjoy them while they are blooming and then dig them up and replant them in a more appropriate garden bed.

Dear Shelia,
I get your feed delivered to my email address, and I can't tell you how much I love your photographs. As a newbie gardener in Los Angeles, it's just a delight to see what you've planted and how lovely it has grown! Thanks for very much!
Susan
Susan, thank you for the kind words and good luck with your gardening endeavors!
Hi Sheila .. I understand you must have felt a bit disappointed in the lily mislable thing .. it has happened to me a few times .. and Casa Blanca .. well it is one gorgeous lily .. I have it and I know what you mean .. having it in the all white garden is perfect ! Good Luck : )
Too bad both were wrong, but these are very pretty. I'm sure you'll find a great spot for them somewhere in your garden.
Oriental lilies are probably one of my favorite blossoms. They are so regal, beautiful, and smell wonderful! Nice picture.
