This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Rogue Veggies
I cannot help but be amused by the interesting places vegetable plants pop up in the garden beds. There are a number of squash plants like this one, here and there throughout the property, most likely the results of viable seeds in from the compost pile. You can see by the mildew on the foliage the results of this cool, damp summer we are having. We may not have much sunshine, but I guess there is enough to keep rogue vegetables happy enough!

Ugh, I'm done with the cool damp summer.
I had a few of those. Mostly watermelons and cucumbers. They were in the veggie garden, though. Probably from veggies that were left in the garden last year and plowed in with the tractor.

I love random surprises in the garden. A few years ago I had a beautiful deep purple & white Columbine pop up on the other side of my backyard. Apparently 'nature' and a local bird transplanted a seed or two?! It thrived for years in a relatively sunny spot. Go figure.
Genial dispatch and this mail helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you seeking your information.
