Pretty But Confused
These charming little columbine (aquilegia) are blooming away in a side garden in SJC. They must not realize it is fall and they are a couple seasons too late or too early! I am just happy to see them never-the-less!

The flowers look lovely, and the leaves are still healthy. Among my columbines, the white variety bloomed the longest, just quit recently.
Gifts like this are wonderful this time of year...It's a pretty little flower...gail
Wonder why? I was just at Jan, Always Growing, and she's got early bloomers too.
Wow! They are confused aren't they? Is this another sign of climate change I wonder???
I had some columbine that did the same. It seems they lightly bloom in the fall when the weather cools! What a fun treat!
