This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Tight Buds
This peach colored clivia is the only one in bloom this time of year.
All of the orange and yellow ones are still tight buds and it will be at least a month before they are in full bloom.

Dear Sheila, What a lovely image but how strange that the peach coloured Clivia should be so much more in advance than the other colours.
Ah, that's a valuable plant you've got there! When we lived in CA, my neighbor had several clivia in his yard, but none were the coveted peach. Beautiful.
