This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

On The Green Side of Things
What are the advantages of a year's worth of rain in two weeks? The hills around us are a beautiful shade of green and will likely stay that way until spring when they turn into yellow fields of wild mustard and then dry up in the summer.

You could probably almost hear every green thing sucking up that rain. It does look wonderful.
It is always almost shocking when Southern CA gets a lot of rain and suddenly the landscape is drastically and beautifully different. Enjoy!
