This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Beauty Next Door
Okay, this isn't my yard, but the view of my next-door neighbors yard from my driveway. Isn't it beautiful? There must be thousands of agapanthus in bloom under this ornamental plum tree. Charms me every time I come home.

Beautiful view. I could sit and gaze at that forever...
What a spectacular sight! Agapanthus are such a luxury here since they are not winter hardy. I have 3 in a pot that has not flowered yet but only shot green leaves. Maybe they will flower next year. They have to be stored frostfree anyway. A wellestablished agapanthus in a pot sells for 250 dollars at gardencentres here - so you are living close to a fortune! I so envy your climate, but the drought and the fires are not so nice.

What a beautiful sight! Your neighbor has great taste:).
Do your neighbors like to divide and share? Those kind of neighbors are the best ones to have.
