This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Gophers, Voles and Rabbits Beware
This is the newest addition to our family, 'Tilly'! Our older dog passed away and left a big hole in our family and our hearts. A good friend suggested we meet this three month old pup that had been abandoned at a humane society and rescued by the Orange County German Shepard Rescue. She had pneumonia and parasites when she first arrived there, but was nursed back to health by a generous foster parent. It didn't take us long to fall in love with her vivacious personality. She is extremely bright and spends hours bouncing around the gardens, adding a great deal of life, joy and laughter to our home.

Your new dog looks very sweet! We just had our oldest dog pass away...it is very sad and it does leave an empty space. They are just like family. I bet your new dog is very happy to be in your garden or beside your garden :).
Too cute !! Warn you though, puppies can tear up a garden bigtime, digging, chasing, tromping. We have always had big dogs, all around 75-100 lbs., and boy have I gotten mad at my work destroyed by them ! We only have 1 now, as they other sweet ones passed away years ago. Your new one will mend everyone's heart soon, take care !! Gina
Congrats on your new dog! I, too, lost two beloved dogs. And, when we adopted our new one, we felt like we were a family once again! Ah...the love of animals is so dear!

Just look at that face! She looks like a keeper. Enjoy your new friend.
Oh my! Such sweetness and such potential for garden mishaps!
Good for you! She will be forever grateful for adopting her. Have a great time with your new little one.
